We have always striven to share the very best of our accommodation and our natural environment with our guests, and this accreditation confirms our commitment to supporting a sustainable travel pathway forward.

About the Travel Sustainable Levels and Programme

booking.com has partnered with Travalyst and Sustainalize to create the footprint of their Travel Sustainable Program, in which we are active participants. This means knowledgeable experts have created the program to ensure we are recognised for meeting functional and achievable sustainability goals and that we are pair reviewed to ensure we close the ‘say/do’ gap.

How does it work?

booking.com have 32 different sustainability steps in its program. We remit what we are currently doing, and that is matched to their matrix, and our social and environmental impact is calculated accordingly. Our size and location are considered, and we are awarded badges for our achievements. These badges are shared with our travellers and guests via the booking.com website.

In the near future, booking.com will be trialling a guest feedback verification process and is engaging a third-party auditor. This means that if we say we do it, then you can be assured that we do!
