Queenstown is a truly international resort, situated on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, surrounded by rugged mountain peaks and majestic lakes.

SKIING
In winter the town draws skiers and snowboarders from all over the world to its popular ski areas Coronet Peak and The Remarkables, both within half an hour of Queenstown, further afield, Cardrona, Snow Park and Snow Farm are all within 45 minutes drive. Buses and transfers can be arranged to all ski resorts in the area.
FURTHER AFIELD
Only a stones throw from Queenstown is the the historic gold mining settlement of Arrowtown. Arrowtown is a sleepy escape from the hustle and bustle of Queenstown and the perfect place for lunch or dinner at some of the world renowned restaurants or a sedate perusal of some of the very interesting shops.
Gibbston is only 20 minutes drive from Queenstown and the home of New Zealand’s interantionally famous Pinot Noir grapes. Take a wine tour or pick one of the wonderful restaurants in the Valley of the Vines and sample some amazing local fare and wines.
At the head of Lake Wakatipu, Glenorchy is a remote settlement characterised by towering mountains squeezing the little village almost into the lake. This is awe inspiring countryside.
